(AUSTIN, TX - July 13, 2009) The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce has listed advertising and design agency, Envision Creative Group, as a finalist for an award of excellence in the area of customer service for the 2010 Austin Business Awards.

Every year the Austin Chamber of Commerce recognizes those companies throughout the Austin region, including Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis and Williamson counties that continue to make this one of the top cities in the world to live and do business. The awards ceremony is the largest event presented by the Austin Chamber of Commerce each year and will host upwards of 800 people in the ballroom at the Downtown Hilton Austin on September 1. Each year The Austin Chamber of Commerce recognizes small, medium, large and not-for-profit businesses in the categories of innovation, customer service, education, community relations, take on traffic and the environment. This is the first year that Envision Creative Group has been a finalist, though they were nominated in the same category in 2009.

Envision Creative Group Donates to a Great Cause

(AUSTIN, TX - May 3, 2010) After extensive evaluation of numerous design agencies, Envision Creative Group, an Austin based graphic design and creative services firm, has been chosen as the agency of record for Pink Balloon, a support organization providing support and education to women who are at high risk for hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.

Envision has chosen to donate its services to Pink Balloon because of the relative lack of attention and services currently available for women with a high risk of hereditary cancer, including a mutated gene, which greatly increases their risk of getting breast and ovarian cancer. About 10 percent of ovarian cancers and 3 to 5 percent of breast cancers occur because of mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes, according to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. The genes protect against those cancers, but if flaws are encoded on either gene, the risk of cancer heightens dramatically. Jodi Vargas, the founder of Pink Balloon, tested positive for the BRCA1 mutation, and faced a 65 to 74 percent greater risk of developing ovarian cancer than women in the general population because of it.

Because of the BCRA test, Vargas has been able to take preventative measures to ensure that she will not get breast or ovarian cancer. With a mother and a second cousin who had both passed away from ovarian cancer, she did not want to take any chances. She now devotes a large amount of her time to educating women and doctors about the BCRA test and also provides support to women with the genetic mutation.

Vargas is thrilled to be working with Envision Creative Group to increase the awareness of Pink Balloon. Envision Creative Group's Work To Be Featured In An Internationally Renowned Publication

(AUSTIN, TX – October 27, 2008) The work of Envision Creative Group, an Austin based graphic design and advertising agency, has been chosen to be included in LogoLounge Volume 5. The judging session was incredibly competitive with over 33,000 logos entered for consideration and only 2,000 being chosen for inclusion. However, the work of Shay Isdale, lead designer at Envision, was chosen for inclusion in the new book by an international panel of judges. This years panel included, Andreas Karl of Karl Design, Von Glitschka of Glitschka Studios, Michelle Sonderegger of Design Ranch, Sarah Moffat of Turner Duckworth, Jamie Koval of VSA Partners, Vince Frost of Frost Design, Bronwen Rautenbach of The Brand Union, and Alex de Janosi of Lippincott.

The logo to be included in the next edition was created for the small Austin business, Let Them Eat Cupcakes. Let Them Eat Cupcakes specializes in custom-decorated cupcakes in more than a dozen flavors, including margarita and s'mores. The cupcakes are delivered directly to the customers' doors. Of course, the name of the business is reminiscent of the saying coined by Marie-Antoinette, who was also an inspiration for the logo.

The Fifth volume in the best-selling LogoLounge series will provide 2,000 entirely new logos from designers worldwide. This book, like the previous titles in the series, is compiled in association with LogoLounge.com, a website that was launched by Bill Gardner in 2002. Envision Creative Group and The Flower Studio Set the Stage for His Highness, the Aga Khan

(AUSTIN, TX – April 21, 2008) Envision Creative Group, a full-service graphic design and advertising agency, was chosen by The Flower Studio, a floral design and event management company, to help dress up the Texas Game Ranch as Governor Rick Perry hosted His Highness, the Aga Kahn in celebration of his Golden Jubilee.

The Aga Khan, spiritual leader of 20 million Ismaili Muslims worldwide, began an eight-day U.S. visit on Friday April 11th. The visit was the latest in a series of trips by the Aga Khan to mark his 50th anniversary, or Golden Jubilee, as imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslim community. After meeting with Gov. Rick Perry on Saturday to attend the signing of a student and faculty exchange agreement between the University of Texas and the Aga Khan University, the governor accompanied the Aga Kahn to a private dinner at the TDS Texas Game Ranch.

Coby Neal and Beth O’Reilly of the Flower Studio, who were approached in early February to plan and design the Golden Jubilee Texas Gala, had transformed the Texas Game Ranch to a beautiful and elegant ballroom with the help of Envision Creative Group. Between the 12’ by 80’ mural of Texas Sunsets, elegant fabric draped from floor to ceiling, and several floral arrangements standing over 5 feet tall, no detail was missed.

The Flower Studio approached several agencies in Austin to work with them on this project but only Envision Creative Group was willing to accept the complex job on such a tight time frame. When talking of her experience planning the event, Beth O’Reilly stated “the smartest thing we did was to get Envision involved early in the process.”

Mr. Smith has booked several cabanas at a small resort on the beach to reward his hard-working employees with a little relaxation.
